Monique new exactly what she wanted for her wedding makeup. Monique has often modelled for Bridal Expos and Special events, so had the added advantage of knowing the look she was after.
Her Bridesmaids wore subtle blush pink dresses. She had decided on purple hues for her eye makeup. I loved this idea as the purple tones would compliment her brown eyes and really make them standout. She wasn’t afraid to have a bit of depth in the eye makeup almost smokey in the outer corner. I used the Urban Decay Naked Palette #3, I also used the Youngblood gel liner to enhance her lash line and add a bit of drama to the outer corner of her eyes. I used Element 2 Canvas Blend foundation, which I applied using the Airbrush. I also used Airbrush foundation to contour her face and add highlighting. I further enhanced he contouring using the Youngblood Contour Kit. Blush was applied lightly to the apples of the cheeks sweeping back towards the hair line – Youngblood Pressed Blush – Bashful. Monique had already a beautiful set of lash extensions. In order to maintain their depth of colour and not to pull them out, I gently painted some gel liner over the top. I completed the look with Bliss lipstick by Youngblood.
