You made me feel beautiful.

Dear Lauriely, I’m the sort of person who needs to know everything – some may call it OCD, but I like to think of it as being well informed before I make a decision.  So, in that regard I do my best to research and find out all my options before making a choice.  I did this when I was pregnant with my first child; I do it when organising our family holidays and everything in between, so when we were planning our wedding, it was no different. I remember really early on in our planning stages reading through an issue of Core magazine that featured suppliers for all things wedding, and that was where I first noticed you.  So I looked up your LollDoll Facebook page and website and through Google, I also came across another article detailing your experience.   I knew then that I wanted you to make me beautiful on my wedding day. Considering that Villa Botanica is quite exclusive with regard to the suppliers that they work with, I wasn’t sure how I was going to make that happen, but when they confirmed you are one of only a few make- up artists that they work with, to say that I was happy was an understatement! When it was confirmed that you would be our make-up artist I was thrilled.  I hadn’t met you, spoken to you, nor had I had a make-up trial, but I already had complete and utter faith in you.  So the fact that my make-up trial wasn’t to happen until the day before our wedding did not worry me in the slightest. Lauriely, you are so genuinely warm and friendly, so professional, and with amazing talent.  You may think that you ‘just’ applied my make-up on my wedding day, but I feel like I found a new friend, and I can’t thank you enough. I felt completely at ease in your hands both at my trial and on my wedding day.  You made me feel beautiful.  I mean really beautiful.  You made me look beautiful.  Exactly how you are supposed to look and feel on your wedding day. I’m lucky that we live so close to the Whitsundays, as I plan on coming to see you again (& again) not only when I need my make-up done professionally for an event, but also to attend your workshops so I can learn at least a little of your expertise. Lauriely, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending you as the only one to go to when it comes to professional make-up, and make-up tutorials. Thank you again, Ree Felix
