I had the pleasure of doing Melissa’s make up two times prior to her Wedding Day.  Melissa had a photo shoot first, which we had a trial for in order to try out different products.

Melissa had definite ideas of how she would like her make up to look on both her photo shoot and also on her Wedding Day.  She loves her makeup and I have to say had a range of enviable products herself.

We worked closely together and achieved an outstanding result. For Melissa’s base I Airbrushed her make up on with Element2 CB04, I used a combination of makeup forever and dermablend to conceal under eyes.

In order to further enhance Melissa’s gorgeous brown eyes, I kept the outer corners very dark, thus drawing them apart.  On the inner corner of the eyes we kept this light and used a very neutral shimmer from Kaizen.  To add drama to her eyes I used Napolean black gel liner followed by Evolve “black” eyeshadow – this eyeshadow has a great colour payoff and really enhanced her lash line and the outer corner of her eyes.

We (Melissa and I) chose the individual lash cluster’s to accentuate her lashes, I stepped these down long/med/short ¾ of the way along creating lift and fullness.

Her eyebrows were well defined and groomed, however we did seem to have one slightly different from the other we combated this by using Youngblood Mineral Eyebrow Palette (we made the left eyebrow higher in the arch and flattened the right slightly)  I used the eyebrow wax in this palette to keep them in place.

On her cheeks we kept the blush towards the outer of her apples, keeping in mind we didn’t want to make her face too narrow if we came too close to the nose.

I used Melissas’ own products for her contouring and cheeks.  She had also chosen her own lipstick, which was a baby pink with gloss.

I finished her look with Napolean Camera Finish #4.
